Enable WhatsApp New Privacy Feature for Android devices

WhatsApp recently introduced a new feature for iPhone users that gave them control over who could admit them to groups. Android users, however, were not afforded this WhatsApp personal privacy. The instant messaging service revealed yesterday that its WhatsApp application now offers a new privacy feature that works on Android phones.

Whats app's New Android Privacy Options

With this new option, users will have more say over which contacts could add them to groups. The "My Contacts Excluding..." menu item is being added to the program so that you can hide connections from groups you don't care for.

Is There a Need for This New Function?

At first, we welcomed WhatsApp groups with open arms, but things quickly deteriorated as everyone on your contact list began adding you to various groups. It's aggravating when admins keep adding you back to the same group even after you've already stated that you do not even want to be a part of it. Because all of the groups contained the same people, storage space on mobile devices quickly filled up with pages. Thus, the current situation was choking more individuals than ever before, and action was required. At that time, WhatsApp added a new privacy feature for groups that was quickly embraced by the community

Whats App's new Android users could enable the privacy settings

Whats App's new group settings can be activated by doing the following:
  • To adjust Whats App's preferences, open the app's menu.
  • Access your profile by choosing Login.
  • Select that "My Name Only" item in the "Privacy Fine" menu.
  •  Now, write down the details of everyone you don't want to include in the group.

Make the Secrecy Option Work!

Once you have blocked a group admin from adding you, he can still contact you privately. This will allow them to personally invite you. In just that little measure of years, we will be able to accept it.

Understand this:

Users of both Android and iOS can now take advantage of this increased level of privacy. The updated version is being sent out worldwide, but if you are not yet able to see it, that's also okay. To use this feature, install the latest version of WhatsApp from the App Store or Google Play.
