After 16 working days, you may check on the status of your phone. There are many ways to validate this:

  1. Send the IMIEI 15-digit code to 8484 through SMS.
  2. Check out the official website: https://www.dirbs.pta-gov.pk/
  3. Using an Android app, you may also see what is going on with the device (DVS).

After the IMEI search has been disabled, you will see the following message:

It has been determined that your mobile device's IMEI # has been reported as stolen, lost, or otherwise misused by the PTA.

For further information about your phone's IMEI, enter *#06# into your phone's dial pad. Check your phone's settings for the IMEI number, which can also be found on the box of the phone.
