Thanks to WhatsApp, it's now easier than ever to stay in touch with friends and family, no matter how far apart we may be. Sadly, the WhatsApp feature that came along with this boon also wants to invade your privacy.
The WhatsApp feature known as "Blue Ticks," which indicates that you have read a message even if you do not want the writer to know, is super irritating. Follow the instructions below to turn off Whats App's blue check marks.
You may now keep your WhatsApp accounts private by disabling the blue check boxes.
Many WhatsApp users could view the Blue Ticks function as a privacy risk, making it one of the most divisive improvements to the app. On more than one occasion, I've contemplated covering up the fact that I've received a message from my boss or a loved one. This function ensured that I would be required to respond to them.
I finally figured out a way to disable those pesky blue checks after far too long. Even now, many people would've been wondering how. Here are the quick and easy steps to turn off the WhatsApp blue mark.
- Select "Preferences" in your Facebook account.
- To modify your settings page, select the tab.
- Choose your level of anonymity by accessing your privacy settings. You can turn on reading receipts by performing the following.
If you turn off Whats App's blue tick, you will not be able to see anyone else's, even if they have not done the same. This is the single worst drawback of this function.
Keep in mind that there is no way to turn off the read receipt option for group conversations or the play records for audio conversations.
Whenever I don't want to reply to a message on Facebook, I now just switch off the blue tick.
